This is a beautiful vintage sterling silver and amethyts brooch. It has an oval shape with a
beautiful quality large faceted amethyst gemstone set in a sterling silver
openback setting. The brooch measures approximately 2.3 long x 1.6 cm wide part.
The rear of the brooch has a sterling silver pin with a C clasp type closure and it is marked
with "STERLINGSILVER" on the side of he brooch.The brooch is in very good condition and is
believed to date from the 1940's to 1950's
