Delivery Information

Your Modern Vintage Style Jewellery will be sent to you in our Modern Vintage Style Gift Boxes   The box will be packaged and posted Royal Mail 1st class,  (signed for delivery) which should reach you in one to two working days after despatch. Postage and package (including gift box) is charged at £3.50 per order. Royal Mail 1st class mail is in theory a next day service and indeed the majority of parcels do arrive next day.  However, it is important to realise that the service is not guaranteed and that the Royal Mail would not consider a first class item as lost until 15 working days - ie 3 whole weeks! - have elapsed.

For items that are in stock we aim to despatch 1 - 3 business days from receipt of your order. Some of our jewellery is handmade and is made in limited runs to ensure quality of materials - if an item is not in stock it will be handmade and we will email you with estimated  despatch times.  For UK orders over £45 there is no postage charge.

Non UK international postage is charged at £9.50, using International Signed For Delivery. Delivery estimate time for these items is 5 working days.

If an item is returned  because no-one was there to receive it, and it has not been collected from the post office within the time stated on their card, we will ask you to pay the postage charge again for us to re-send it. Goods are packaged carefully, but in the unlikely event that you receive anything damaged, please return within 10 days of receipt for replacement. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you may return any item (except custom-made) for any reason within 7 days of receiving it, provided that it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging and that you email your intention to do so on the day of receipt. Please note that all postage costs will have to be borne by the customer. All returns should be sent Royal Mail Signed for delivery.

RETURNS

If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase please contact Modern Vintage Style by email within 2 days of receipt and return within 7 days for a refund.  When returning goods please ensure  you use a trackable or signed for service and keep all proofs of purchase in case you need to claim compensation, as we are  unable to refund on goods not delivered. Please note that all return postage costs will have to be borne by the customer

Regrettably we are unable to offer refunds on earrings due to hygiene regulations.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure items for return are packaged securely, especially for items in gift boxes - which could be crushed if not protected. If we receive an item for return, which has been damaged due to poor packaging (this includes the gift box), an amount will be deducted from the refund to cover the damage.

We will be pleased to quote you for custom made jewellery. Just email us with your requirements:

If we have custom made a piece of jewellery to fit a specific size, or with different colours or design from those shown on our site, we do not normally offer a refund for any reason other than faulty or damaged goods. Please contact us first if you feel you need to return anything for any other reason. All items can be made to fit a specific size. We ask that you state this on your order if necessary please.
