Vintage Mexican jade and sterling silver warrior face mask brooch or pendant. The carved jade stone is set in a decorative sterling silver mask setting It has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear and a pendant bail. It is signed "MEXICO 925 TAXCO " on the rear and has other indistinct makers marks. The brooch measures approximately 4.5 cm x 3.7 cm (not including the dangle earring details on the mask). Weight is 22 grams. Estimated to date from the 1950's to 1960's. It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age.
