Beautiful vintage John Fraser, Inverness, sterling silver kilt pin with Celtic design and large open backed and prong set faceted Cairngorm quartz cabochon of 1.9 cm diameter. The pin measures approximately 8.6 long x 1.9 cm (at the widest part) and has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear. Weight is 18 grams. It has makers marks "JF", "INS", and also has indistinct silver hallmarks to the rear. It in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age.
