with blue lapis lazuli stone designed by Henning Koppel.
The inside of the ring is marked with "GEORG JENSEN
925 DENMARK 154" . It is approximately a UK ring size K or K 1/2 .
It is in very good condition. Weight is 12.4 grams. It is estimated to date from the 1960's.
A similar example can be seen in the Janet Drucker reference book on Georg Jensen.
George Jensen was a renowned silversmith and the Georg Jensen brand has come
to represent excellent quality craftsmanship and design. Henning Koppel was one of the
most renowned designers who worked with the Georg Jensen Company.
His designs have a clean, modern, sculptural feel. This ring is a lovely example of his work.
