A beautiful large sterling silver dove brooch by Georg Jensen. It features a dove perched on top of a laurel wreath.The rear of the brooch is marked with "925 S Sterling Georg Jensen Silversmiths Ltd 123" . It has a rollover Clasp and pin closure on the rear. It measures approximately 4.5 cm in diameter and is in very good condition. Weight is 14 grams. It is estimated to date from the 1930's to 1940's. George Jensen was a renowned silversmith and the Georg Jensen brand has come to represent excellent quality craftsmanship and design.
