Vintage Blue John and sterling silver pendant. The large blue john gem is bezel set in an open backed sterling silver setting.The pendant  measures approximately 5.5 x 1.7 cm and it has a sterling silver bail and 50 cm (20 inch) sterling silver chain necklace. Weight is 21 grams.  It is in very good condition. (Blue John is a rare semi precious gemstone. It is a variety of fluorite and is found only in two caverns in Derbyshire , England)
