Beautiful vintage chunky green amethyst, pearl and sterling silver necklace. The faceted green amethyst oval gem and round pearl above are bezel set in open backed decorative sterling silver settings. The necklace has a detailed sterling silver pendant bail and sturdy silver rope chain with lobster clasp closure. The green amethyst oval gem measures approximately 2.3 x 1.5 cm and the necklace has a 51 cm (20 inch) silver chain. Weight is 44 grams. It is marked "925" on the rear. It is in very good condition . Estimated to date from 1960's to 1980's.
