Vintage rare Frances Holmes Boothby, USA mid century modernist sterling silver bird brooch.  It has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear.  It is signed " STERLING fhb" on the rear. The brooch measures approximately 2.6 x 2.8 cm. Weight is 3 grams. It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age. Estimated to date from the 1940's to 60's
