Beautifully detailed vintage sterling silver artisan brooch. It depicts two dogs in an intricately detailed floral setting. It has a pin and C clasp closure to the rear. It is signed "LAO" for London Assay Office. (LAO is a mark given to pieces made by makers who did not have a registered makers mark.) It also has silver hallmarks for London 1991 . The brooch measures approximately 3.8 cm in diameter. Weight is 19 grams. It is in very good condition
